Kris Kringle is the second in a series of Santas created especially for rug hookers. Kris is approximately 17" tall and is able to stand on his own on your mantle or on a shelf with Christmas greenery. The model was hooked traditionally with 1/4-inch wool strips, or it can also be completed with wool yarn, called Nantucket style, which is popular in New England. This design is fun and fast to complete. The pattern includes a full-size diagram you can transfer to your linen or monks cloth foundation and full instructions for choosing your colors, stuffing and completing your Santa.
